At Aquent, we connect elite talent with game-changing roles. We're hunting for a sharp Java Developer to supercharge our client's core desktop trading application.
What You’ll Do- Build & Scale: Drive complex system design and code multi-threaded, resilient architecture.
- Lead the Charge: Own the product design, troubleshoot wild bugs, and make critical architectural choices.
- Collaborate: Partner with enterprise teams to elevate APIs, UIs, and backend modules.
What You Bring
- The Essentials: 1+ years of Java/J2EE experience, solid OOA/OOD skills, and a strong grip on algorithms & GoF design patterns.
- The Setup: Experience with Agile/TDD, APIs, and a BS in Computer Science.
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with desktop UI frameworks (Swing, JavaFX, Angular), performance tuning (Garbage Collection), or finance/trading tech.
Please note: This position is available on a W-2 employment basis only and is not open to Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements. The client is also unable to provide employment-based visa sponsorship or transfers for this role.
